Most Malaysian Deaf individuals are proficient in using BIM, which is both beautiful and expressive. However, they are often hesitant to write sentences in Malay and English to communicate with hearing individuals. This represents Challenge 1.

Most Deaf Malaysians have not attained a high level of literacy because they are frequently not provided with opportunities to acquire skills that could improve their living standards. Hearing individuals generally possess more advanced capabilities than Deaf individuals. This represents Challenge 2.
