DAWN Board
The current board of DAWN is made up of eight people directly elected by its ordinary members. The board members currently serve a 3-year period and can be re-elected if so desired. Meetings are conducted at least four times a year, by video-conferencing, due to the distance.

Teamwork
Teamwork is important to achieve the organisation’s focus and objectives.Hence three following teams are established to enhance outcomes and measurable effectiveness of organisation.
Access Team
Access Team, which is under Ms Sariah Ibrahim’s purview focusing on access to (1) health, (2) recreation, leisure and sports, (3) education, (4) employment, and (5) information, communication and technology.
Human Development Team
Human Development Team, which is under Dr Anthony’s purview focusing on the development to (1) human development / gender equality, (2) Deaf community’s welfare, (3) Deaf youths, (4) BIM instructors, and (5) Deaf elderly.
Empowerment Team
Empowerment Team, which is under Ms Jessica’s purview focusing on the empowerment towards the (1) rights to sign language and (2) self-development as well as rights to be a (3) Deaf woman and (4) Deaf person.
Networking
Networking is important because it helps build professional relationships, opens doors to new opportunities and facilitates the exchanges of ideas and best practices. It also contributes to our social well-being and boosts our professional confidence. DAWN network includes the following.
